Greetings and blessing,

I have duly received your letters written at the close of Shabbos* Mikeitz* and Shabbos* Vayigash*, as well as the previous ones. I await the continuation of your good news regarding the development of the school you direct — quantitatively first, by the number of your students, boys and girls, and qualitatively next, by the level of studies, the fear of Hashem, and the practice of the Mitzvos*.

You tell me that your collaborators are genuine opponents of Chassidus*. You must know that in recent times this no longer exists, and everything therefore depends on your ability to adopt the approach that suits each man and each woman.

When they realize that your purpose is not to challenge them, they will set aside their suspicion and welcome your approach with goodwill. For an effort is never in vain, as evidenced by the fact, from what you write, that 19 Kislev* was celebrated in a pleasant manner and with great splendor. Now, they themselves no doubt participated.

Further proof can be found in the fact that the leadership of the institution has evolved positively in its relationship with you. How much more must this be so for those who are within its four cubits. In accordance with the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us, one must therefore remove everything that forms a screen before the truth of the situation and the truth of the soul of all the people who have had the merit of working in an institution of my father-in-law, the Rebbe. This, obviously, applies as well to those who collaborate with you.

Awaiting your good news regarding all of the above, all the more so since, as you write, the period of Chanukah* was one of positive changes in the number of the school's students, and with my blessing of success,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתביו ממוצש"ק מקץ וויגש והקודמים לו, ואחכה להמשך בבשורות הטובות מהתפתחות בית הספר בהנהלתו הן בכמות כפשוטו, מספר תלמידים ותלמידות והן באיכות, היינו בגובה הלימוד ענינים דיראת שמים וקיום המצות.

ומ"ש שהמשתתפים עמו הם מתנגדים אמיתים, הרי ידוע שבזמן האחרון אין כבר מציאות כזו, ואין הדבר תלוי אלא בגישה המתאימה לפי רוחו של פלוני ופלונית, וכשיווכחו שאין הכוונה לבטל מציאותם (אראפרייסין דעם נאז) יקבל את הדברים מבלי חשד ובעין יפה, ואז חזקה לתעמולה שאינה חוזרת ריקם, ואחת ההוכחות בזה הוא מה שכותב שי"ט כסלו בלו בנעימים וחגגוה ברוב פאר, שבטח כוונתו שהי' זה בצירוף עם הנ"ל, והוכחה נוספת בזה, ומה הנהלת המקום שינתה יחסה לטוב, עאכו"כ אל הנמצאים בהד' אמות, אלא שכפתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, צריך להסיר ענינים המפסיקים בין האמת שבהענין, ובין האמת שבנפש כל אלו שזכו לעבוד במוסד כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, שגם השותפים שלו בכלל זה כמובן.

המחכה לבשו"ט בכל הנ"ל, ובפרט שכותב שתקופת חנוכה הוא זמן השינוים (לטובה) במספר תלמידי בית הספר וכו', בברכת הצלחה.
