and devotes himself to communal needs,
Rav Nissan (Rav N. Pinson, of Casablanca, Morocco; see, on this subject, letter no. 3048),

Greetings and blessing,

I received with pleasure your letter of 6 Teves*, in which you inform me that the construction of the basins intended to enable the use of the Mikveh* has been completed (see, on this subject, letter no. 3048). You tell me, in addition, that the aesthetics will also be respected, and you know how important this was to our holy masters — in order to eliminate all difficulties and to facilitate, to the fullest extent possible, the purification of Jewish women and, consequently, that of Yisrael*. Now, "purity leads... (to holiness, and holiness leads...) to the prophet Eliyahu*."

The public merit depends on all those who devote themselves to this area, which is the foundation of the perpetuation of Yisrael*.

May Hashem grant that one advance, from one stage to another, to fulfill the mission entrusted by the Most High, seated on the Heavenly Throne, according to the expression of the Likkutei Torah*, at the beginning of Parshas* Vayikra*, in good health and in success, with children, health, and material prosperity.

שלום וברכה!

נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מו' טבת, בו מבשר אשר כבר נגמר בנין הבורות בשביל הכשרת המקוה, וכן שיעשוה ג"כ באופן שתהי' יפה ביופי חיצוני, וכבר ידוע עד כמה שהקפידו בזה רבותינו הק' אפילו ביופי חיצוני, ובלבד להסיר כל המניעות ולהקל ככל האפשרי בטהרת בנות ישראל ועי"ז בטהרת עם ישראל, שטהרה מביאה כו' לאלי' הנביא, וזכות הרבים תלוי בכל המתעסקים בזה בענין שהוא יסוד קיום עם ישראל.

ויה"ר מהשי"ת שילכו מחיל אל חיל למלאות שליחותו של אדם העליון שעל הכסא (עפמ"ש בלקו"ת ריש פ' ויקרא) מתוך בריאות והצלחה בבני חיי ומזוני רוויחי.
