When I learned of the murder of the young Yisrael (see letter no. 3190 and the preceding one), I immediately wrote to Mr. Shazar (this is letter no. 3161) to tell him that it would be good for the relevant administrations to consider a show of support for the inhabitants of the Kfar* (Kfar Chabad*). This could be, in particular, a faster exchange of lands by the Mehadrin company, all the more so since in this way the number of those who settle there (in the Kfar*) could be increased.
He (Mr. Shazar) has surely informed you of this letter. For your part, you will therefore also take all the necessary steps.
I see in the press that the songs and talks of the Chassidic* farbrengen* of 19 Kislev* at Kfar Chabad* were recorded. It would be good to send the entirety of this recording here. The same applies to previous years. Here, mention is made of celebrations that took place at the Kfar*. I was unable to determine which celebration was in question. In any event, it is not the one that took place this year, but rather one from previous years.

... בקבלת הידיעה ע"ד הרצח של האברך ישראל הי"ד, כתבתי תיכף למר שז"ר שי' שמהנכון להראות איזה סימן של עידוד לתושבי הכפר מצד המשרדים המתאימים, ואחד הענינים בזה הוא למהר ענין החליפין של קרקע של חברת מהדרין. ובפרט שעי"ז תהי' אפשריות להגדיל מספר המתיישבים, ובטח סיפר להם ע"ד מכתב זה ובמילא גם מצדם משתדלים ככל היכולת.
... רואה אני בהעתונים שהנגונים והנאומים דחגיגת י"ט כסלו בכפר חב"ד הקליטו זה, ומהנכון הוא להשתדל שישלחו גם לכאן הקליטה-מלאה של הנ"ל. וכן בהנוגע לשנים שעברו, אשר ישנם מקומות כאן ש"משמיעים" איזה חגיגה בכפר, אף שלא עלה בידי לברר של איזה חגיגה, ובכ"א היא לא משנה זו אלא משנה שעברה.
