To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem
and devotes himself to communal needs,
Rav Tzvi Yosef HaKohen (Rav T. Y. Cohen),

Greetings and blessing,

I have duly received your letter of "Monday of the Parashah* 'and they kept the children alive'" (of Parshas* Shemos*), to use your expression. Its content describes your intense activity on behalf of the important work of collecting paper intended to print sacred books that will give life to the sons and daughters of Yisrael*, binding them to Hashem our Elokim, the Elokim of life, through the study of the Torah* of life.

May Hashem grant that you participate for many more years in such activities. The fact of being a Kohen* will come to your aid in ensuring that every Jewish man and woman belongs to this "nation of Kohanim*," because all will be "a holy people."

All of this is particularly important in our generation, that of the heel of Moshiach* and of the end of exile, through the true and complete redemption by our righteous Moshiach*, very soon and in our days. It is regarding this that it has been said: "As in the days of your going out of Egypt, I will show you wonders." And our Sages gave, regarding the Parashah* of this week, "And these are the names of the children of Yisrael*," the following explanation (see letter no. 3205), in the Zohar*, Volume 2, page 71: "They arrived as children of Yisrael* and departed as children of Yisrael*." Indeed, "they did not change... (their language, their names, and their garments)."

An education based on sacred values, founded on the purest fear of Hashem, will enable all of this to be achieved.

בנועם קבלתי מכתבו כמו שכותב מיום ב' לסדר ותחיינה את הילדים, תוכו רצוף פעולה גדולה למפעל הגדול דמגבית הנייר להדפסת ספרי קדש להחיות נפשות בני ובנות ישראל ע"י דביקותם בה' אלקינו אלקים חיים בלימוד תורת חיים.

ויה"ר שעוד רבות בשנים יקח חלק גדול בענינים כמו אלו וכהנא מסייע (להיות) כהנא לעשות מכאו"א מבני ובנות ישראל ממלכת כהנים (ע"י שיהיו) גוי קדוש. וגדול הענין ביחוד בדורנו זה דרא דעקבתא דמשיחא סוף ימי הגלות, ע"י גאולה האמיתית דמשיח צדקנו במהרה בימינו, אשר על זה נאמר כימי צאתך מארץ מצרים אראנו נפלאות ודרשו רז"ל בפרשת השבוע ואלה שמות בני ישראל, בני ישראל עלו ובני ישראל נפקו (זהר חלק ב' ד' ע"א) שלא שינו את וכו' שיקוים זה על ידי חינוך על טהרת הקדש מיוסד על יראת שמים טהורה.

בברכה לאורך ימים ושנים טובות וכל טוב לכל המשתתפים בפעולה נשגבה זו.
