I greet you and bless you,

You became aware of an allusive commentary pertaining to the day and month of the Hilulah* (10 Shevat, Hilulah of the Frierdiker Rebbe). It is stated, indeed: "...rod" — in Hebrew, Shevet*, which can also be read as Shevat* — "the tenth shall be consecrated to Hashem" (regarding the tithing of animals: "All that passes under the..."). One thus finds 10 Shevat* in this verse.

Now, in a subsequent verse, one finds the permutation of the Tetragrammaton* corresponding to the month of Shevat* (see also Likkutei Sichos*, Volume 26, page 90): "If he exchanges it, it shall be..." (consecrated, as well as the one with which it was exchanged). The initials of the words of this verse form Hei, Yud, Vav, Hei. Marcheshvan* shall be with Teves* and Shevat*.

The significance of this permutation is explained in the Eitz Chaim*, Gate of the Names, Chapter 7.

... בהמשך להרמז ששמע על חודש ויום ההילולא ממש"נ ה"שבט העשירי יהי' קודש להוי'" - צירוף הוי' השייך לחדש שבט, הוא הבא בכתוב הסמוך להנ"ל: המר ימירנו והי' הוא (מ"ח [...] מס' טבת ושבט). - ענין צירוף זה מבואר בע"ח שער השמות פ"ז.
