I have duly received your request for blessing. I am surprised that you do not speak about the Chassidic farbrengens*. Without a doubt, these are indeed organized from time to time in your city.
But I am even more astonished regarding you personally. On the other side of the ocean (presumably in Russia), you were one of the organizers of such gatherings, although you then resided with many other Chassidim* (who could therefore have done likewise). Yet now, you do not tell me what you are accomplishing to spread the wellsprings* outward in your city, and more generally, to strengthen Jewish observance and propagate it.
No doubt you will fill in all of this at the next opportunity. May Hashem grant you success.

מאשר הנני קבלת הפ"נ שלו, ולפלא שאינו מזכיר דבר ע"ד התועדות, שבודאי נערכו מזמן לזמן במחנו הט'. ועליו הפלא גדול יותר, באשר מעבר לים הי' מראשי המתעסקים בכגון דא - אף שנמצא ביחד עם כמה מאנ"ש, ועתה בעירו אינו מודיע ע"ד פעולותיו בהפצת המעיינות חוצה, ובכלל בהחזקת היהדות והפצתה. ובודאי ימלא בהזדמנות הכי קרובה, והשי"ת יצליחו.
