It is surely unnecessary to reiterate my words, and the purpose of the present letter is solely to counsel haste to those who, by nature, possess this quality, on the following points (see also the previous letter):
A) It is not proper to resign from the functions one holds within a beis midrash* and a shul*. On the contrary, one must redouble one's diligence in this domain.
B) Hashem expects of each of us peace and love of one's fellow, as it is said: "You shall love your fellow as yourself." Now, regarding oneself, the verse says that "love covers all faults." The same must therefore apply, at least to some extent, in the fulfillment of the mitzvah* of loving one's fellow.
Moreover, no one can respond with certainty for the arguments he advances — each person can err in his analysis. The Torah*, Torah of Truth, states that "no one bears testimony on his own account" — for one cannot be objective regarding what concerns oneself personally.
May Hashem grant that you soon announce to me that peace reigns in the shul* and that joy is therefore manifest among you.

... ובודאי למותר להכפיל הדברים, ולא באתי אלא לזרז למזורזין, אשר, א) לא זהויה דרך להתפטר מעבודתו בעניני בית המדרש וביתה כנסת, אלא אדרבה צריך להוסיף אומץ בזה. ב) כיון שהשי"ת דורש מכל אחד ואחד מאתנו ענין השלום בהענין דאהבת ישראל, ובאופן דואהבת לרעך כמוך, הנה מזה מובן, שכמו בהנוגע לעצמו הנה על כל פשעים תכסה אהבה, הרי עכ"פ מעין ענין זה, צריך להיות בקיום הציווי דואהבת לרעך ובפרט שאי אפשר לאדם להיות בטוח בטענות עצמו בכל המאה אחוז, כיון שעפ"י תורה תורת חיים, אין אדם מעיד על עצמו. ויהי רצון שיבשרני בקרוב ממש אשר השלום בבית הכנסת ובמילא גם השמחה בגבולם...
