To the leaders of the Chabad* Youth in our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, the Tel Aviv chapter, may Hashem grant you long life,

Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your letter from Motzaei Shabbos*, the eve of 17 Elul. I am surprised, once again, by the long interruption between your letters. In this one as well, you do not explain the reason.

You tell me that study groups have been organized in various locations for youth and for children. I am pleased by this. You should surely establish a program in this area with the aim of unifying all these groups. This is in addition to the necessity of helping them acquire knowledge and, above all, of arousing in them the desire to continue their studies in Chabad* schools.

In this matter, if a precise program is not established, there will be no limit. There will then be reason to fear that your activities will fragment, in the absence of one or, at most, a few centralizing elements that will serve as a guiding thread.

Likewise, I have received the initial reports on the Chassidic gathering* of 18 Elul. I await the continuation, as you promised me. Even though you do not specify, you are surely preparing a detailed program for the month of Tishrei* that approaches. As a symbolic contribution toward this, you will receive from the fund an amount of one hundred lira.

On the occasion of the new year that approaches, for us and for all of Israel*, for good and for blessing, each one of you, with all the members of your family, shall be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year, and for considerable success in the work carried out among the Chabad* Youth, in accordance with the will of our leader, my father-in-law, the Rebbe [the Frierdiker Rebbe*], whose merit protects us.

מאשרים קבלת מכתבם ממוצש"ק אור לי"ז אלול, ולפלא גם עתה ההפסק הכי ארוך בכתובים שגם במכתב זה אין מענה על זה.

נהניתי ממ"ש אודות הפעולות דארגון הלימוד בקבוצות נוער וילדים במקומות שונים ובודאי יערכו איזה תכנית בזה ובמטרה מאחדת את הקבוצות השונות נוסף על המטרה הכללית שצריך להכינם שיהיו מוכשרים מצד ידיעותיהם והעיקר רצונם להמשיך במוסדות חינוך חב"ד כי בלתי תכנית בזה הרי אין לדבר סוף, ויש חשש שתתפרר עבודתם כיון שלא תתרכז ע"י נקודה או עכ"פ איזה נקודות שישמשו חוט השני בעבודה זו.

כן התחלת הידיעות ע"ד התועדות דח"י אלול נתקבל ומחכים כהבטחתם להמשך בזה, ובטח אף שאינם מזכירים אודות זה מתעסקים בתכנית מפורט בקשר עם ימי תשרי הבע"ל, ובתור השתתפות סמלית הנה בטח יקבלו מהקופה המיוחדת מאה לירה על זה.

ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנה יכתב ויחתם כאו"א מהם הוא וכל משפחתו בתוך כלל ישראל לשנה טובה ומתוקה ולהצלחה מופלגה בעבודתם בתוככי מסגרת צעירי אגו"ח מתאים לכוונת נשיאנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.
