To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav Chaim (Rav C. Aronson),

I have duly received your letter of 27 Elul.

You recount in this letter that your father had the custom of traveling — first from Lyepli and then from Vitebsk — to Lubavitch, to our masters [the Rebbeim*], whose merit protects us.

I would like to know whether you have in your possession any notes or writings of Chassidus* that your father may have preserved. If so, I would like to know their content or receive a list of them.
