To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, of multiple accomplishments,

Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter, which I received during Chol HaMoed Sukkos*. I hope that you organized a Simchas Beis HaShoevah* celebration for the students of the school that you direct, and that these students visited the sukkah*. Very often, what they see on such an occasion remains engraved in their hearts. Some of them surely live in the vicinity of the synagogue.

Likewise, I would like to know what became of the project to establish a school in the Chicago neighborhood where many Jews are currently settling.

במענה על מכתבו שנתקבל בחוהמ"ס... אקוה אשר ערך בשביל תלמידי המוסד שבהנהלתו מעין התועדות בשמחת בית השואבה ושביקרו בהסוכה, ובהרבה פעמים הרי מחזות כאלו נחרתים על לבם ובטח חלק מהתלמידים לא רחוקים מבית הכנסת.
