Greetings and blessings,
You write to me about a young man who wishes to pray in a place where the fear of Hashem is strong, but his father prevents him from doing so.
The halachah* in this matter is stated by the Chamudei Daniel*, cited by the Pis'chei Teshuvah*, on the Shulchan Aruch*, Yoreh Deah*, at the end of chapter 240. He should not listen to his father.
But, needless to say, he must do so in a respectful and peaceful manner.
