Greetings and blessings,
I am responding to your letter, as well as to the request for a blessing it contained, which will be read at a propitious moment at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe [the Frierdiker Rebbe*], whose merit protects us.
You tell me that you are incapable of accomplishing anything in any domain. May Hashem protect you from making such a statement, for the Torah* is eternal and it was given to each Jew individually. This is one of the reasons the Ten Commandments, and especially the first two — which encompass the entire Torah* — are formulated in the singular.
It follows that you must also have the merit of spreading the wellsprings outward — that is, the teaching of Chassidus*, its practices and its customs. Needless to say, the manner of this dissemination depends on the time and the place. Nevertheless, at all times and in all places, the possibility and the capacity to disseminate exist, and our Sages affirm that one who makes efforts sees them rewarded with success.
The Holy One, blessed be He, acts "measure for measure," and when one strengthens the moral health of those around him, one receives from Hashem, in a greatly increased manner, moral and physical health. May Hashem grant you long days and good years. May He strengthen and increase the light in the part of the world entrusted to you, with breadth of spirit.

במענה על מכתבו עם הפ"נ המוסגר בו שיקרא בעת רצון על הציון הק של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"ם זי"ע.
מה שכותב שאין יכולת לפעול מאומה בשום ענין, ח"ו לומר כן, כי התורה היא נצחית, וניתנה ביחוד לכל ואחד ואחד מישראל, וכידוע שזהו אחד הטעמים שבעשרת הדברות, וביחוד דבור הראשון והשני שכל התורה כלולה בהם נאמרו בלשון יחיד, ומזה מובן שגם עליו הזכות להתעסק בהפצת המעיינות חוצה שהם תורת החסידות הדרכותי' ומנהגי'. ואף שמובן שאופני ההפצה תלוים בזמן ובמקום, אבל בכל זמן ומקום ישנה היכולת והאפשריות להפצה, ואמרו רז"ל, יגעת ומצאת, ומדתו של הקב"ה מדה כנגד מדה, שכשמוסיפין בבריאות הרוחנית של הסביבה, מוסיף השי"ת כמה פעמים ככה בבריאות הרוחנית וגם הגשמית של האדם המתעסק בזה, והשי"ת יאריך ימיו ושנותיו ויחזק ויוסיף בהאור אשר בחלקו בעולם מתוך הרחבת הדעת.
