To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,
Rav Ephraim (Rav E. Wolf, of Lod),
Greetings and blessings,
I have duly received the telegrams sent from the places you passed through (during your return to the Holy Land, following your visit to the Rebbe during the month of Tishrei*), as well as the letter from Antwerp. I also await other good tidings from the Holy Land.
It is no doubt unnecessary to reiterate my request that you visit the settlements of the Chassidim* and their institutions. You will convey to them my joyful greetings and the appropriate points from the words of encouragement (delivered by the Rebbe during this month of Tishrei*).
May Hashem grant you the merit and the success to also give me joyful and detailed news from the places you visit. This will increase the blessing of Hashem in your personal concerns, about which you will also share good tidings.
I am surprised that you say nothing about your discussions with the communal leaders in the cities you visited — in London, in Rotterdam. No doubt you will complete all of this in your upcoming letters.
With my blessing for success in your sacred mission, and in expectation of good and detailed tidings,

מאשר הנני קבלת המברקים ממקומות בם עבר, והמכתב מאנטווערפען, ואחכה להמשך בשורות הטובות גם מאה"ק ת"ו, ובודאי למותר לכפול עוד הפעם בקשתי לבקר במושבות אנ"ש שי' ומוסדותנו ולמסור פ"ש שמחה מכאן בצירוף נקודות המתאימות מדברי התעוררות, ויזכהו ויצליחו השי"ת להודיע ג"כ פ"ש שמחה ומפורטת מכל המקומות שיבקר, וזה יוסיף ג"כ בברכת השי"ת בעניניו הפרטים שיוכל גם בזה לבשר טובות.
לפלא שאינו כותב פרטים מהשיחה שלו עם עסקני הצבור בערים שעבר, בלונדון רוטרדם, ואולי ימלא עד"ז במכתביו הבאים.
בברכת הצלחה בעבודתו בקדש, המחכה לבשו"ט ומפורטות.
