Greetings and blessings,
I was pleased to receive news of you (this letter was sent to several Chassidim* in Chicago) through our emissaries (charged with a visit to Chicago; see Igros Kodesh, Letter #3930) — the Rabbanim, elderly Chabad* Chassidim* of good conduct who devote themselves to communal needs, Rav Shmuel HaLevi Levitin and Rav Eliyahu Simpson.
At a propitious moment, your name and those of the members of your family will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, so that you obtain the fulfillment of your needs and give good tidings, always and every day.
We are approaching the days of Chanukah*, when one lights candles in order to illuminate the outside as well, in increasing number, from day to day. May it be so for each of us, within the entire Jewish people, materially and spiritually.
