I am responding to your letter of 21 Kislev*, in which you describe, very briefly, the activities carried out in Kislev*, the month of redemption. Be reassured, as I myself was reassured by this news, even though it was concise. No doubt you will elaborate on all of this in your upcoming correspondence.

Please tell me, in particular, about the Chassidishe farbrengens* at which you were one of the principal speakers, especially the one during the study days for the army. And regarding the other gatherings, please encourage the other speakers to write to me as well, to give me their reports.

May Hashem* grant you the success of conveying good tidings, always and every day. Very soon, Hashem* will fulfill the wish of your heart and that of your wife. He will grant you a healthy child.

במענה על מכתבו מכ"א כסלו, בו כותב אף כי בקיצור נמרץ, ע"ד הפעולות דחדש כסלו הוא חדש הגאולה, ותנוח דעתו כאשר הניח את דעתי - עכ"פ בידיעות הקצרות, ובודאי ימלאם במכתביו הבאים. ובפרט באותם התועדויות שהוא הי' מראשי המדברים וביחוד התועדות דעיון לצבא. ובהנוגע לשאר התועדויות עכ"פ יזרז את אלו ראשי המדברים בכל אחת ואחת שיודיעו הם עד"ז. והשי"ת יצליחו לבשר טוב תכה"י. ובקרוב ממש ממילוי משאלות לבבו ולבב זוגתו שיחיו לזחו"ק.
