You are considering giving lectures on Chabad* Chassidus* in a systematic manner and to a designated audience that would be mixed-gender. This is not acceptable to me.
In fact, several communal leaders of your city, having visited me, told me that this mixed-gender arrangement was not acceptable to them either, but that they did not always have the power to eliminate it. In any event, if you approach these leaders, it is reasonable to think that you will easily obtain from them that the audience of your lectures not be mixed-gender.
This does not contradict the Chabad* approach of entering all milieus in order to bring them closer to Torah* and mitzvos*. Indeed, one can do this only by not granting legitimacy — or even more than legitimacy — to such situations.

שביקרו אצלי הבטיחוני שאין דעתם נוחה מתערובת כזו, אלא שלא בכל מקום מגעת השפעתם לבטלה. ובמילא כשיתדבר עם העסקנים שבמחנו, יש מקום לומר שבקל יוכל לסדר ששומעי הרצאתו לא תהי' תערובות בהם. ואין בזה סתירה לשיטת חב"ד להשתדל לחדור לכל החוגים לקרבם לתורה ומצותי', כי בד"א כשאין בזה ענין של "נתינת הכשר" ואולי עוד יותר מענין הכשר...
