Blessings and greetings,

I receive with pleasure, from time to time, news of your work within the Chabad* school that bears the name of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, leader of Israel, and of the success that is yours in this domain.

No doubt you also face many difficulties there, but I have every hope that with time, these will diminish and, above all, that they will disturb you less and less — especially as you observe the fruits of your labor.

It is explained at length elsewhere that every effort, every action for the education of the young generation is justified, for a slight positive change in the student can become a fundamental transformation for the rest of his life, as experience demonstrates.

I am certain that you have also made arrangements at home, particularly regarding your children, so that your sacred mission of educating students at school does not contradict your other sacred mission — that of educating your children. For one mitzvah* facilitates another, and not the reverse, which Hashem forbid.

Hashem acts "measure for measure," but in a vastly increased manner, and thus your blessing will be multiplied — your success with your children, who will be faithful to Hashem, to His Torah*, and to His mitzvos*. You and your husband, the Rav, will derive from them much true satisfaction — that is, Chassidic satisfaction — with breadth of mind and in good health.

ברכה ושלום!

נהנה אני לקבל מזמן לזמן ידיעות אודות עבודתה בבית ספר חב"ד אשר על שם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נשיא ישראל, והצלחתה בזה. ותקותי חזקה אשר אף שבטח כמה קישוים פוגשת בעבודתה זו; הנה מזמן לזמן מתמעטים הם, והעיקר אשר מזמן לזמן מתמעטת תפיסת המקום שלהם אצלה, ובפרט שרואה פירות בעבודתה.

ומובן, המבואר במקום אחר באריכות, אשר כל השתדלות ואפילו יגיעה בחינוך דור הצעיר כדאיות הן, כיון ששינוי לטובה אפילו קטן בשעת מעשה בתלמיד-ה אפשר שישנה ובענינים עיקרים כל משך ימי חייו, וכנראה גם בעיני בשר.

ובטחוני שהביאו בפועל את האפשריות לסדר גם עניניהם בביתם, ובפרט בהנוגע לילידיהם שיחיו, באופן שלא תהי' סתירה בין עבודתה בקדש בחינוך תלמידי בית הספר - לעבודתה בקדש בחינוך בניהם הם, כי הרי מצוה מסייעת למצוה ולא ח"ו להיפך. ובודאי במדתו של הקב"ה שהיא מדה כנגד מדה אלא שכמה פעמים ככה - תתוסף ברכתו והצלחתו בילידיהם הם, שיהיו נאמנים לד' לתורתו ומצותיו, והיא ובעלה הרב שי' יקבלו מהם רוב נחת אמיתי, שהוא נחת חסידותי, מתוך הרחבת הדעת ובריאות הנכונה.
