I greet you and bless you,
It seems that you are panicking yourself regarding the state of health of your wife, to whom Hashem* will grant long life.
You know the meaning of the expression: "For the sin we have committed before You through our evil inclination*." Indeed, the illness of a Jewish body stems from the forces of evil. But sometimes, the evil inclination* itself does not find the composure and the cunning necessary to achieve such a result. It is then the person himself who weakens himself, without foundation, without justification.
May Hashem* grant that you begin to ensure that your mind governs your heart. The Alter Rebbe* states that this is a natural and innate condition — all the more so since the panic that appears in your letter seems completely unjustified.
I am enclosing a letter for your wife. Please consult the doctor who is treating her to determine whether it should be given to her right away or whether it is preferable to wait.
