With the help of Hashem*, 19 Tevet 5709.
To my friend, the chassid*, the renowned scholar, Rav Shneur Zalman Duchman*[1], may he live long and well.
I received your letters numbered 7 and 8.
Enclosed: the 24 Tevet fascicle*[2], the letter from the Previous Rebbe*[3] and the letter from Machaneh Israel* — the content is relevant to everyone, not only chassidim*, so please extend your efforts in this regard.
Sent separately: the memoirs, the Pesach 5703 discourse*[4], the second letter collection, and the women's discourse (all from the Previous Rebbe*) — please confirm receipt and distribute widely.
The Previous Rebbe* knows that I send him the memories — he said: 'This is a very good thing.' The Rebbe* occasionally shares one story with the Previous Rebbe*, who is pleased each time.
I await the continuation of your notes.

בחבילה בפ"ע נשלח לו עתה כבקשתו: ס' הזכרונות, שיחת פסח תש"ג, קובץ מכתבים שני, רייד פאר פרויען, ובודאי יאשר קבלתם ויזכה בהם את הרבים.
