Greetings and blessings,

I duly received your letter of 12 Sivan and I am surprised by the attitude of some Chassidim*. I have written and said orally, on multiple occasions, that in these regions, "the more stretched out (see note 1), the better (see note 2)." Expressed in the terms of our mother tongue (see note 3), this means that sophistication and hesitations are not always a virtue, that they offer no advantage when it comes to earning one's livelihood. From time to time, one therefore returns to what one was accustomed to doing (see note 4), where one was previously (see note 5).

Certainly, habit is a second nature, as the Tanya* underscores, but this too should not frighten a Chassid*. One must therefore at least try to change this nature. Sometimes, when one commits to this course, one discovers that it is not so difficult. And one is more at ease, more free, in one's mind and in one's pockets (see note 6).

May the Creator of the world, Who directs it, fulfill the wishes of your heart in a positive manner, so that you earn a good livelihood and are able to intensify your study of the revealed dimension of Torah* and of Chassidus*, in good health and in abundance.

לאחר הפסקה ארוכה שמחתי לקבל מכתבן מט״ו סיון ,בו כותבות

אודות עבודתן בכלל ובפרט אודות סידור חגיגת ל״ג בעומר ,והשי״ת

יעזור שיגדילו עבודתן הן בכמות והן באיכות ,ובפרט בימי הקיץ הבאים,

שהילדים פנויים מלימודים אחרים ,וההשפעה הטובה שביכולתם לקבל,

לא תופרע מדברים זרים ,וגם ע׳׳י הכנה מתאימה כראוי לנצל את זה

שבנאות דשא נפגשים עם אנשים ממקומות רבים ,וכשמשפיעים עליהם

במשך השבועות הבודדים בהם נמצאים עמם בנאות דשא ,ההשפעה

הטובה מגיע למקומות מגוריהם הקבוע] ,דהיינו [:הפצת היהדות שהיא

המטרה של אגודת נשי ובנות חב״ד -בערים רבות בבת אחת ,והנני

מקוה שתתדברנה יחד באמור לעיל ,ותגשנה לעבודה באופן מתאים.

ובטח יברך השם יתברך את כל המשתתפות בעבודה של אגודת נשי

ובנות חב״ד בכלל ובהאמורה לעיל בפרט ,בקיץ בריא ,חיזוק בבריאות

והצלחה בעבודה במיוחד.
