To Camp (see note 1) Gan Israel* (see note 2), affiliated with Merkaz LeInyonei Chinuch*, Ellenville, New York (see note 3),
On the occasion of the first Shabbos spent at Gan Israel, I send my blessing to all the children, to the counselors, to the directors and their assistants, whom Hashem will grant long life.
Shabbos blesses all the days (see note 4). It will therefore bless the days of your stay at Gan Israel, so that you strengthen and fortify yourselves there, materially and spiritually — both your physical health and your moral health.
Gan Israel will lead those who receive their education there to redouble their constancy and ardor in the study of our Torah, Torah of life, in the practice of its mitzvos* in the best way, with Chassidic* clarity and warmth.
As our Sages explain, commenting on the verse "Those who lead the many to righteousness shall be like stars for all eternity" — the merit of all who help and lend their support, beginning with the counselors, will protect you, as well as all the members of your family, in all your needs, material and spiritual.

ובאשר מהשבת מתברכין כולהי יומין יתברכו לכל ימי היותם בגן ישראל להתחזק ולהתאמץ בגשמיות וברוחניות בבריאות הגוף ובבריאות הנפש גם יחד. וגן ישראל ישפיע על חניכיו להוספה בהתמדה ושקידה בלימוד תורתנו תורת חיים וקיום מצותי' בהידור באור וחום חסידותי. וזכות כל המשתדלים ומסייעים בזה והמדריכים בראשם - וכדרשת רז"ל על הכתוב ומצדיקי הרבים ככוכבים לעולם ועד - תעמוד להם ולכל בני ביתם בהמצטרך להם בגשמיות וברוחניות.
