Greetings and blessings*,

I have duly received your letter from the eve of Yom Kippur*. May Hashem grant that you inform me only of good, always and every day, in your personal concerns as well as in your communal activities.

I have taken note, with pleasure, of the activities of your daughter in the domain of Chabad* education. May Hashem grant her considerable success. He will allow you and your wife to derive much Chassidic* satisfaction from her, in all domains.

In accordance with a well-known teaching, which was developed here during a Chassidic farbrengen*, it is said regarding the period of ikvesa d'Meshicha* (see note 1): "The daughter rises against her mother, and the young people make the faces of the elders turn white" (see note 2). Consequently, her mother will also increase her participation in Chabad* activities. She too will know success.
