Greetings and blessings,
I am responding to your letter, in which you give an account of what we discussed on Chanukah*, on the eve of Rosh Chodesh*. You ask me what you should do.
You have so many doubts, so many contradictory arguments! We have left the month of Kislev* and Chanukah* and are now in Teves*. It is now difficult for me to give my opinion on this matter. As you know, one must take advantage of propitious moments, as I specified during our telephone conversation.
May Hashem therefore grant that what must be come to pass, when it should, at the best moment and in the appropriate manner, in a visible and tangible good, in abundance, including in the literal sense.
I send you my blessing for considerable success, so that you may give tzedakah* with a generous hand and a joyful heart.
