Greetings and blessings,

You ask me what the expression "the fitting way of life" means, which I used in my letter (see note 1). This means, of course, that one must put into practice the precept: "In all your ways, know Him."

Indeed, that which is stated, that which is indispensable, is not "the fitting way of life," but rather an absolute obligation. It is not the same for this, for the precept: "In all your ways, know Him." For, further addition is always possible, since perfection does not exist within creation.

Conversely, that which the words "know Him" encompass (see note 2) has no end, no limit. This is self-evident.

I send you my blessing that you strengthen your trust in Hashem*, your commitment to the Torah, to the mitzvos*, to this way of life, together with your wife.

... בשאלתו לפירוש המלות "אורח חיים מתאים" שהשתמשתי בהם במכתבי, מובן שזהו בההנהגה דבכל דרכיך דעהו, כי הענינים האמורים והענינים שמחוייבים בהם אין זה אורח חיים מתאים גרידא כ"א ציווי מפורש משא"כ הנ"ל בההנהגה דבכל דרכיך דעהו הרי תמיד יש מקום להוסיף כיון שאין שלימות בבריאה, ולאידך גיסא זה שעליו נאמר דעהו אין סוף ובלי גבול הוא, וק"ל.

בברכה לתוספת בטחון ולהוספה בעניני תורה ומצוה ואורח חיים הנ"ל הוא ביחד עם זוגתו תחי' ולבשו"ט.
