the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem*,

Rav Zeev, shlita*, Greenberg (see note 2), and

the communal leader,

Shimon Avraham HaLevi* (see note 3),

may Hashem grant you long life,

Greetings and blessings,

I have learned with pleasure that you have purchased a plot of land on which you will study and teach our holy Torah, Torah of life, to the children who devote themselves to this study. It will also be a place where these children can go during the summer and the warm season.

Surely you will teach them the Torah, the mitzvos*, and the Jewish customs, which are the purpose of man. Moreover, our Sages say that the world rests upon the breath of the mouths of children devoted to study.

I enclose a check for eighteen dollars, as a participation in the acquisition of this land, as it is said: "I am a friend of all who fear You and who keep Your precepts."

He Who gives the Torah and commands the mitzvah* will grant you success and achievement, in order to multiply the actions of the members of Shuvah Yisroel, together with their wives and children. These actions are intended to strengthen Judaism, with the light and warmth of Chassidus*, to disseminate it, in good health and with breadth of mind.

בנועם קבלתי הידיעה אשר קנו חלקת שדה בה ילמדו ילמדו תורתנו הקדושה תורת חיים לתינוקות של בית רבן וכן תהי' גם כן מקום אשר ימצאו שם הילדים בימי הקיץ והחום.

ובודאי אשר גם אז ילמדו עמהם תורה ומצות ומנהגי ישראל, כי הרי זה כל האדם, ובפרט על פי הידוע מרבותנו ז"ל אשר על הבל פיהם של תשב"ר העולם עומד, ומוסגר בזה טשעק על ח"י דאללאר בתור השתתפותי בקניית שדה זה ע"ד מה שכתוב, חבר אני לכל אשר יראוך ולשומרי פקודיך.

ונותן התורה ומצוה המצות יזכם ויצליחם להרבות פעולותיהם להחזקת היהדות והפצתה מוארים באור וחום חסידותי, מתוך בריאות והרחבת הדעת של חברי שובה ישראל הם נשיהם ובניהם ובנותיהם שיחיו.
