Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter from the conclusion of the Shabbos* that blesses the month of Adar Rishon* (see note 1).

As you request, I will mention the names of these people at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, so that they may obtain the satisfaction of their needs.

The Creator of the world, Who directs it, will lead them on the path that will be good for them, so that they carry out their settling in a positive manner, materially and spiritually.

It is no doubt unnecessary to remind you that, in accordance with the demand of our Sages, one must ascend in the domain of holiness. They themselves informed us that "whoever adds (see note 2) is added to (see note 3)." How much more do these teachings apply to those who exert an influence on their surroundings — in particular the Chassidim* and the former students of the Yeshivah*, who are described as "candles to illuminate." Now, the result is commensurate with the effort (see note 4).

All of this should have manifested itself long ago, both outwardly and in a profound manner, in your surroundings and in your city, through the dissemination of Chassidus*, of Chassidic conduct, to the fullest extent possible.

And nothing can withstand determination. Indeed, "the Holy One, blessed be He, does not act treacherously with His creatures." He demands only in accordance with the strength at their disposal. This is self-evident.

With my blessing to convey good tidings of all this,

כבקשתו אזכירם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך להם, ובורא עולם ומנהיגו ינהגם בדרך הטובה לפניהם בעניני הסתדרותם הטובה הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות.

ובודאי למותר לעוררו אשר הציווי דמעלין בקדש והודעת רז"ל כל המוסיף מוסיפין לו שייך הוא כמה פעמים ככה באנשים שיש להם השפעה בסביבתם וביחוד באנ"ש והתמימים שהם הנקראים נרות להאיר דוקא ולפום גמלא שיחנא, ומזמן כבר הי' צ"ל רישומו ניכר בחקיקה חיצונית ובחקיקה פנימיות בסביבתו אשר ב... בעניני הפצת תורת החסידות והנהגות החסידות ככל הדרוש, ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון, כיון שאין הקב"ה בא בטרוניא עם בריותיו ואין מבקש אלא לפי כחן. וק"ל.
