To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem

and carries out a sacred mission,

Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of the eve of Shabbos*, with its contents. In the meantime, you have surely received my correspondence responding to your previous letter. I hope that by the time you receive this letter, the state of health of that man will have improved.

You make reference to vaccination. It is customary in this country to administer it to all children (see note 2). Nevertheless, one must first verify the manufacture of these doses — who produced them and whether they are reliable.

As you yourself write, many practice it in your city, and there is therefore no reason to set yourself apart. May Hashem grant you, as well as your wife, to raise him (see note 3) to Torah*, to the marriage canopy (chuppah*), and to good deeds, in breadth of spirit and in good health.

במענה על מכתבו מעש"ק והמוסגר בו, ובטח קבל בינתים מכתבי מענה על מכתבו הקודם, ותקותי שלעת קבלת מכתבי זה כבר הוטב מצב בריאות... שי'.

ומ"ש אודות הוואקסיניישאן במדינה זו נהגו לעשות זה לכל הילדים, אלא שמקום יש לברר מאיזה תוצרת הוא הוואקסיניישאן, זאת אומרת, מאיזה פאבריק ובאם בדוק ומנוסה הוא, ושכפי כתבו כמה וכמה בעירו עושים זה אין להיות יוצא מן הכלל בזה, והשי"ת יזכהו ואת זוגתו תחי' לגדלו לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים מתוך הרחבת הדעת ובריאות הנכונה.
