By the grace of Hashem,

Greetings and blessings,

I hope that from time to time you strengthen the time you devote to the study of Chassidus*, and that in addition, you maintain the three studies that concern everyone, instituted by my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us. These concern the Chumash*, Tehillim*, and Tanya*, and are well known.

May Hashem grant that you give me good news of all this. Indeed, the merit of your origins comes to your aid. You will therefore invest the zealousness (mesirus nefesh*) that you inherited from your ancestors in the spreading of Chassidus*, its customs and its practices, in every place that you can reach.

You know to what extent our holy masters gave of themselves to spread this teaching. One can deduce from this the satisfaction one provides them by adopting the same activity. They thereby invoke divine mercy for all who act and cause others to act, so that they obtain the fulfillment of their needs, material and spiritual.
