To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem

and devotes himself to communal needs,

Rav Shimon Aharon (see note 1), the Shochet*,

Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 28 Adar Rishon*, informing me of good news, since you are preparing to gather, this Sunday, all the children who attend the Shabbos* afternoon recreational programs (see note 2).

May Hashem grant that you achieve success, that you draw the hearts of all the participants in this gathering close to our Father Who is in Heaven. Thus, they will strengthen their practice of the Torah* and Mitzvos* during the following days as well.

Shabbos* blesses all the days of the week. May Hashem therefore grant that the holiness of Shabbos*, which is explained during these afternoon programs, bring increased holiness to these children and, above all, to those who lead them, including during the rest of the week, so that all constitute "one nation on earth" (Divrei HaYamim* I, 17:21). Their teachers and their parents will derive from them much genuine satisfaction, materially and spiritually.

There are no words to describe the reward of those who devote themselves to all of this. For Hashem grants it middah* k'neged middah* (measure for measure) (see note 3), and He will therefore ensure that the wish of your heart is fulfilled (see note 4).

With my blessing to all who devote themselves to this, make efforts for this gathering, or participate in it,

יהי רצון אשר חפץ ה' בידם יצליח לקרב לבם של כל המשתתפים-ות בכנוס זה לאבינו שבשמים, שבמילא יתוסף בקיום המצות גם בימים הבאים לאחרי זה.

וכמו דשבת מני' מתברכין כולי יומי, יהי רצון אשר מקדושת השבת אשר הסברתה הוא תכלית הענין דמסיבת שבת, תומשך תוספת קדושה בהילדים-ות ומנהליהם בראשיהם גם במשך ימות החול לעשותם גוי קדוש בארץ, ומוריהם והוריהם שיחיו ירוו מהם רוב נחת אמיתי בגו"ר.

ושכר כל המתעסקים בזה אין די באר, ובמדתו של הקב"ה שהיא מדה כנגד מדה למילוי משאלות לבבם לטובה.

בברכה לכל המתעסקים המשתדלים והמשתתפים בכנוס האמור.
