Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your letters, summarizing your activities until now. No doubt the success in this matter will awaken within you the strength and enthusiasm necessary to multiply these initiatives on a grand scale.

This multiplication will take two forms: integrating new activities, on the one hand, and strengthening those that already exist, on the other. In your city, broad action can be undertaken in both directions. And in every achievement, it is always possible to highlight the central point — the Chassidic point.

According to the holy Zohar*, indeed, the deep dimension of the Torah* is its soul (see note 2). When this soul is vivified in any limb that constitutes it, the other limbs are vivified as well. For one cannot distinguish the parts of a soul — that which is in the foot and that which is in the brain — based on the vitality that inhabits them.

Admittedly, when it comes to concrete action, the soul needs the limbs of the body, each having its own specificity. Then the action of each limb is different.

Indeed, various Chassidic texts, referring to the Heavenly Man (Adam HaElyon*), specify that the lights have no predetermination and acquire it only by entering the vessels — just as the color the eye attributes to water depends, in fact, on the vessel in which it is found. It can therefore be, depending on the case, white, red, or green.

It is surely unnecessary to specify the meaning of the word "outside" (see note 3). Indeed, the work must be carried out to the outside — that is, in ever-widening circles, which also includes those circles that, for the time being, are not interested in any of this, or even show signs of opposition.

These days are propitious for implanting all of this on the outside, to the very last extremity, the lowest. Indeed, we have entered the month of Purim* (see note 4). Regarding this month, of all the days that comprise it, the holy Torah* says: "It was transformed" into joy and celebration (Esther* 9:1).

This transformation means that this month is propitious for changing everything that is not a visible and tangible good into joy and celebration, which one observes with one's own eyes of flesh.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבם מפעולותיהם עד עתה, ובודאי שההצלחה

בהענינים - תעורר בהם תוספת כח ואומץ להרבות בהפעולות כמה פעמים ככה, הריבוי בשני הענינם, הוספת סוגים חדשים בפעולותיהם, והוספה בהפעולות הקיימות כבר, והרי כר נרחב במחנם הט' לפעולות מכל המינים, ובכל הפעולות ישנו תמיד מקום להחדיר הנקודה התיכונה הנקודה החסידותית, וכמובן גם מביטוי הזהר הק' שפנימיות התורה היא נשמתה דאורייתא, דכשנתוסף חיות בהנשמה באיזה אבר שיהי' מתוסף תומ"י חיות גם בהנשמה שבשאר האברים, שהרי אי אפשר לחלק בנשמה ולהבדל בין חלקה שברגל לבין חלקה שבמוח בהנוגע להחיות שבהם.

אף שבהנוגע להפעולות שבזה זקוקה הנשמה לאברי הגוף, המחולקים זה מזה, מתחלקת ג"כ הפעולה מתאים להאבר.

והוא ע"ד המבואר בדא"ח בכ"מ, בהנוגע לאדם העליון, אשר האורות פשוטים הם, וההתחלקות בא מצד הכלים, וכמשל גוון הנראה במים לעין הרואה ותלוי בהכלי בו נמצאים המים, הלבן הוא או אדום או ירוק.

בטח למותר להדגיש הדיוק מכבר בלשון חוצה, שהעבודה צריכה להתפשט גם חוצה, ז. א. בחוגים ההולכים ומתרחבים ומתפשטים, שבזה נכלל ג"כ חוג, שבמצב העכשוי, איננו רוצה בענינים אלו, ואפילו כזה שמראה ג"כ אותו התנגדות.

ומסוגלים ימים אלו להחדרת ענינים האמורים חוצה עד לקצה האחרון והתחתון, שהרי נכנסנו לחדש הפורים, אשר עליו אומרת תוה"ק, החדש - ז. א. כל ימי החדש - אשר נהפך וגו' לשמחה ליום טוב.

וענין נהפך, תוכנו, אשר גם הענינים שאינם בטוב הנראה והנגלה, מסוגל הוא חדש זה, להפכם לשמחה וליום טוב נראים לעיני בשר.
