To the Rav*, the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem
and devotes himself to communal needs,

Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your letter from erev Shabbos* and was satisfied by what you told me regarding Antwerp (see note 2). It would be good to maintain contact with the new people you met there, not only in the material domain (see note 3), but also spiritually, by sending them pamphlets and talks (sichos*), according to the level (see note 4) of each.

You make reference to the yeshivah*. May Hashem grant that its students, its directors, and those who are connected to it all make an effort, each in his domain. Thus, we will merit to fulfill the will of our holy master, whose merit protects us — to develop Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim*, to the fullest extent possible and in accordance with what is needed, so that the veils and obstacles are transformed into good.

The significance of this transformation is as follows. This month (see note 5) is capable of changing what was not, from the outset, a visible and tangible good, into joy and celebration, which one can observe with one's eyes of flesh.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מעש"ק, ונהניתי במ"ש אודות ההתועדות באנטווערפען, ומהנכון בזה ובכגון דא להמשיך הקישור עם הפנים חדשות שנפגש אתם לא רק בהנוגע לגשמיות אלא גם ברוחניות ע"י שילוח קונטרסים ולקו"ד וכיו"ב מתאים לכאו"א...

ובמ"ש אודות הישיבה, יה"ר שיוסיפו התלמידים וההנהלה וכל השייכים לזה כאו"א בענינו, ויזכו למלאות רצון רבותנו נשיאנו הק' זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להתפתחות תו"ת ככל האפשרי וככל הדרוש ואפילו העלמות והסתרים יהפכו לטוב,

שהרי נכנסנו בחדש הפורים, אשר עליו אומרת תוה"ק, והחדש - ז. א. כל ימי החדש - אשר נהפך וגו' לשמחה וגו' ליום טוב,

וענין נהפך, הרי תוכנו, אשר גם הענינים שאינם בטוב הנראה והנגלה, מסוגל הוא חדש זה להפכם לשמחה וליום טוב נראים לעיני בשר.
