may Hashem grant you long life,

Greetings and blessings,

I am transmitting to you the text of the telegram that the Rebbe Shlita* addressed to you yesterday evening, on the occasion of your gathering, which will take place on Purim*:

"May this gathering be fruitful and may it enable you, in particular, to fulfill your mission, linked to the directive (see note 1): 'Go, gather all the Jews,' so that in their daily existence, they may be 'the people of Mordechai*,' who 'does not bow down and does not prostrate himself' before idolatry.

Our Sages* affirm that every Jewish man and every Jewish woman reject idolatry, which means that their essence is foreign to everything that does not belong to their eternal Tradition. In this way, all will be 'young people' (see note 2) in their Judaism, full of eagerness and enthusiasm, refusing compromise.

Thus, one will fulfill that which was already received on Mount Sinai* (see note 3). Thanks to this fulfillment, the promise will be realized that 'all the nations feared them,' and one will obtain victory against all enemies — a Jewish victory, authentic and enduring.

חגיגה מוצלחת, ובפרט במילוי חלקכם בהתפקיד לך כנוס את כל היהודים שיעשו גם בחייהם היום יומיים עם מרדכי שלא יכרע ולא ישתחוה לשום עבודה זרה, וכהודעת חכמינו שכל אחד ואחת מהיהודים כופר בעבודה זרה, פירושו עצמות היהודי שוללת כל הזר לישראל סבא הנצחי, והכל יעשו צעירים ביהדותם היינו התלהבות מרץ ושלילת פשרות, ולקיים מה שקבלו כבר מסיני, שקיום זה זוהי הדרך למילוי נפל פחדם על כל העמים ולנצחון על כל שונאיהם נצחון יהודי אמיתי בר קיימא. בברכת פורים.
