Greetings and blessings,

I received, in its time, your letter informing me that your state of health is improving. I am surprised, since then, not to have had further news from you. This no doubt means that all is well, in accordance with the practice of the Chassidim*, about which our holy masters have complained for several generations — the practice of ceasing to write when all goes well.

I hope that at least in the future, you will take an active part in the activities of the Chassidim* in London and, more generally, in England. The more you do so, the better it will be, including for what concerns you personally.

Of course, all of this does not exempt you from fixing a time to study the revealed dimension of the Torah* and Chassidus*. On Shabbos* and sometimes even during the week, you should pray with greater fervor. Indeed, my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, invested in you spiritual strengths. It is therefore incumbent upon you to make use of them, in the three domains of the service of Hashem, which are Torah*, prayer, and good deeds. This is quite evident.

May Hashem grant that the difficulties, whether alleged or even genuine, the veils and obstacles, be transformed into good. Not only will they no longer disturb, but, moreover, they will come to one's aid, as the holy Torah* explains regarding the entire month of Purim*, of all the days that compose it: "it was transformed for them" into joy and celebration.

The significance of this transformation is as follows. This month is capable of changing what was not, from the outset, a visible and tangible good, into joy and celebration, which one can observe with one's eyes of flesh.

בעתו קבלתי מכתבו אשר מצב בריאותו הולך וטוב, ולפלא שמאז ועד עתה אין ממנו ידיעות נוספות, וכנראה זהו סימן שנסתדרו כל הענינים (וכמנהג אנ"ש שמכמה דורות התאוננו בזה עליהם נשיאינו הק' אשר אין כותבים כשהכל שלום וטוב), ותקותי שעכ"פ מכאן ולהבא יקח חלק פעיל בפעולות אנ"ש בלונדון ובכלל במדינת אנגליא, וכל המרבה בזה ה"ז משובח גם בעניניו הפרטים. ומובן ג"כ שאין כל הנ"ל פוטרו מקביעות עתים בלימוד תורת הנגלה ותורת החסידות, וביום השבת ולפעמים גם בימות החול עבודת התפלה, והרי כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע השקיע בו כחות נפשיים שמזכותו הוא להוציאם אל הפועל בשלשת הקוים דתורה עבודה וגמילות חסדים ופשוט, ויהי רצון אשר גם העכובים המדומים ואפילו האמיתים וכן העלמות והסתרים יהפכו לטוב ולא רק שלא יפריעו אלא שעוד יסייעו, וכסגולת חדש הפורים אשר תוה"ק אומרת עליו, והחדש - ז. א. כל ימי החדש - אשר נהפך להם וגו' לשמחה וגו' ליום טוב.

וענין נהפך הרי תוכנו, אשר גם הענינים שאינם בטוב הנראה והנגלה, מסוגל הוא חדש זה להפכם לשמחה וליום טוב נראים לעיני בשר.
