To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,
devotes himself to communal needs
and carries out a sacred mission, Rav Yosef (see note 1),

Greetings and blessings,

After a long interruption, I received your letter from motzaei Shabbos* and I thank you for the good news you convey to me — that of the improvement in the state of health of your wife, may Hashem grant her long life.

May Hashem grant that this improvement be a first step so that she will then go from strength to strength, until she recovers completely. Thus, you will live long days, good and pleasant years.

This also includes the success of the banquet (see note 2) being organized in your honor, as you write, at the school to which you have devoted yourself for twice eighteen (see note 3) years of spiritual and material success.

Indeed, you collected funds (see note 4) and you demonstrated how indispensable a good education is (see note 5). Moreover, the education in sacred values of every Jewish man and every Jewish woman is spreading ever more broadly, and in this way, one will come to realize its primordial character.

Consequently, every effort, every intervention in this direction is justified. Now, you have merited being placed in this domain by divine Providence. Hashem will therefore also enable you to give good news of the progress in all that has just been said, until the promise is fulfilled that: "One will no longer teach the other, for all will know Me, from the smallest to the greatest," and "the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Hashem" (see note 6).

לאחרי הפסק הארוך נתקבל מכתבו ממוצש"ק, ות"ח על בשורה הטובה מהטבת מצב בריאות זוגתו תחי', ויהי רצון שתהי' הטבה זו דרגא להלוך מהטבה להטבה עד לרפו"ש, ויאריכו ימיהם ושנותיהם בטוב ובנעימים.

ומובן שבזה נכללת ג"כ הצלחת המשתה אודותו כותב שעורכים לכבודו בבית הספר בו עסק ב"פ ח"י שנה הצלחה ברוחניות והצלחה בגשמיות בהנוגע לאוסף כספים וברוחניות אשר הרעיון דהכרח חינוך הכשר, ולא עוד, אלא החינוך על טהרת הקדש לכל אחד ואחת מבני ישראל יחדיר לחוגים ההולכים ומתרחבים ומתפשטים עד שיכירו שזה בעיא חיונית, ולכן כל היגיעה והשתדלות בזה כדאיות הם, וכיון שזכה שההשגחה העליונה העמידתו בשטח עבודה זו, תזכהו גם כן לבשר טוב מההתקדמות בהאמור עדי יקוים היעוד שלא ילמדו עוד איש את רעהו, כי כולם ידעו אותי למקטנם ועד גדולם, ומלאה הארץ דעה את ה'.
