Greetings and blessings,

I received, in their time, your letters, whose dates are recalled below. I am surprised that, since your last letter, dating from the Sunday of Parshas Terumah*, I have had no further news from you, except in response to my correspondence.

Now, during these weeks, there have surely been new developments regarding what you wrote about or in domains that have just been introduced. No doubt you will fill in all of this, with the appropriate detail.

May Hashem grant that it be a visible and tangible good, which of course also includes good health, for you and for all the members of your family, may Hashem grant them long life.

Those of 16 Teves*, motzaei Shabbos* Parshas Vaera*, motzaei Shabbos* Parshas Beshalach*, 13 Shevat*, 22 Shevat*, 27 Shevat*, and Sunday of Parshas Terumah*.

I have just received your letter of 17 Adar Sheini*. It is quite evident that there cannot be, within the framework of Chabad*, a school in which boys and girls are mixed together. But it is equally clear that such schools (see note 2) must be guided and assisted in everything concerning the fear of Hashem, the Torah* and the mitzvos*. This is self-evident.

You allude to a gathering of the Chassidim*. It is certain that this is a good initiative, but a plan must be prepared in advance, at least in general terms. Other Chassidic* communal leaders must be attracted to this project. In this way, with Hashem's help, one can count on important and far-reaching results.
