Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 17 Adar Sheini*, in which you describe the succession of events that led you to write to me.

It is clear that every relationship between two Jews must result in an addition to the Torah* and the mitzvos*. You currently live within the four cubits of the Torah* and you have contacted me. It would therefore be wise and even positive for you to immediately fix a study of Chabad* Chassidus*.

You have surely heard about it, for you have met several of its members. They will therefore indicate a study program to you and tell you how to carry it out. And nothing withstands determination.

May the One Who gives the Torah* also grant you the ability to influence your friends in this direction, so that they follow your example. The merit of the public will come to your aid.

במענה על מכתבו מי"ז אד"ש, בו כותב ההשתלשלות איך שבא לכתוב אלי.

והנה מובן אשר כל קישור של בני ישראל צריך להתבטא בהוספה בעניני תורה ומדות, וכיון שחי עתה בד' אמות של תורה ובא בקשר עמדי. נכון וגם טוב אשר תיכף יקבע לימוד בתורת החסידות חב"ד אשר בודאי נודע לו אודותה, כיון שנפגש עם כמה מאנשי', והם יורוהו ג"כ סדר הלימוד ואופניו, ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון, ויהי רצון מנותן התורה שיזכהו גם כן להשפיע על חבריו שגם הם יעשו ככה וזכות הרבים מסייעתו.
