To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem*,
who possesses fine qualities and manifold accomplishments,
Rav Avraham Sender (see note 1), the Shochet*,

Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 25 Adar Sheini, in which you request a blessing. It will be read, at a propitious moment, at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit shields us.

You will surely convey good tidings regarding its contents. Moreover, you yourself write that the Hilula* of the Rebbe Rashab* (see note 2), whose merit shields us, will soon take place. Now, the tzaddikim* and shepherds of Yisrael* — just as they fulfill their mission when they live in this world, they continue it on high and invoke great compassion, in order to satisfy the needs of all who are connected to them, particularly those who had the merit of receiving their teachings, as it is stated: "Your eyes shall see your teacher."

Furthermore, in the future you will see him with your own eyes (see note 3) through the books and Chassidic discourses he left us, in which he expresses the essence, the inner dimension of himself. Indeed, Chassidus* explains the "wondrous union" that can be achieved between the intellect, the one who perceives it, and the concept perceived. This is self-evident.

I convey my blessing on the occasion of Shabbos* Parshas* HaChodesh (see note 4), which introduces the month of redemption (see note 5), that it be joyful and pleasant. Very soon, the promise will be fulfilled that "He will have compassion upon us and redeem us, after having concealed (see note 6) His Face, by the merit of faith, because all Jews are believers, children of believers. And the first believer was Avraham, as it is stated: 'He believed in Hashem, and He reckoned it to him as a Tzedakah*.'"

בטח יבשר טוב בתוכנו ובפרט כפי שכותב גם במכתבו שיום ההילולא של כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ממשמש ובא והרי צדיקי רועי ישראל, מה בחייו חיותו בעלמא דין עומד ומשמש כן להלן עומד במרום ומעורר ר"ר להשפעת צרכי כל אלה המקושרים ובפרט אלו שזכו לשמוע תורתם באופן דוהיו עיניך רואות את מוריך, אשר גם להבא עין בעין יראו בספריהם ובמאמרי דא"ח שהניחו אתנו, ואשר בהם עצמות ופנימית נפשם, וע"ד המבואר בחסידות היחוד נפלא בין השכל משכיל ומושכל, וק"ל.

בברכה לשבת החדש, חדש הגאולה שמח וטוב ובקרוב יקוים היעוד דחס עלינו ויגאלנו מהסתר אסתיר בזכות האמונה שכל ישראל מאמינים הם בני מאמינים והמאמין הראשון הוא אברהם דוהאמין בה' ויחשבה לו צדקה.
