Greetings and blessings,

I have just received your letter of 21 Adar Sheini, briefly describing the Purim* farbrengen*. I am surprised to note that you express yourselves with brevity precisely when more detail is needed. Granted, you say that someone has already written to me about this farbrengen, but that does not exempt the leadership of Tzeirei Agudas Chabad from doing so as well, since you are the organizers of this gathering.

It is surely unnecessary to point out to you that such gatherings serve to plow, or at most, to plant. But afterward, all the subsequent work must still be done so that the fruits may grow.

In this case, one of the means to achieve this result is to maintain contact with all the newcomers who were met during this farbrengen. Naturally, this contact is not identical for everyone. To this end, you should take advantage of the approaching Pesach*, and in particular the distribution of Matzah Shemurah*.

With my blessing for success in your sacred mission, and for a kosher and joyous festival of Pesach,

ז"ע נתקבל מכתבם מכ"א אד"ש, ראשי פרקים מהתועדות דפורים, ולפלא

שמקצרים במקום שאמרו להאריך, ואף כפי שכותבים שכבר כתבו לי ע"ד התועדות זו, מובן שאין זה פוטר מכתיבה את הנהלת צעירי אגו"ח, כיון שהם הן שארגנו ההתועדות.

בודאי למותר לעוררם שהתועדות בכגון דא הרי זה חרישה ולכל היותר גם זריעה, ומוכרח לאחרי זה כל המלאכות הנדרשות בכדי שיהי' צמיחה ופירות, ובנדון דידן מההתחלות שבזה לעמוד בקישור עם הפנים חדשות שבאו עמהם במגע בעת התועדות זו, אף שמובן שאופן הקישור לא עם כולם שוה הוא, ויש לנצל ימי חג הפסח הבע"ל, ובמבצע חלוקת מצה שמורה בפרט.

בברכת הצלחה בעבודתם בקדש ולחג הפסח כשר ושמח.
