Greetings and blessings,

I was seized with alarm and distress upon reading, in the second half of your letter, that the water reservoir (see note 1) has a rubber stopper (see note 2). You have surely seen the letter of the Rebbe Rashab*, father of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit shields us, in which he requested that rubber not be used in such a case.

Consequently, even if it will take time to fulfill all the other proposals of Rav Telushkin Shlita* (see note 3), it is necessary to replace this rubber stopper as quickly as possible with one made of cement.

Naturally, it will then be necessary to replace the water (see note 4) in this reservoir, which must be collected in the proper manner. The sooner you do this, the better. It is for this reason that I am sending this letter by express mail.
