I have duly received your letter from Motzaei Shabbos*, along with its contents, as well as your previous correspondence. The actions you describe give great satisfaction. It is no doubt unnecessary to elaborate on this at length.

There is no doubt that our holy masters, who gave of themselves for the love of every Jew and demonstrated its importance through their words, will invoke great compassion for the place where you currently carry out your sacred mission, so that you may achieve even greater success — a considerable success — in these actions, as well as blessing and advancement in the personal affairs of all those who bear this mission. It is certain that, in this way, you will multiply your actions, for "a mitzvah* draws another mitzvah."

You had the merit of initiating the visits (see note 1). You observed what resulted concretely from them and their tangible contribution (see note 2). May Hashem* therefore grant that in the future, you will announce to me yet more good tidings. You will tell me that these actions are being strengthened, in quantity and in quality, until the promise is fulfilled: "No one shall teach his fellow any more, for all shall know Me, from the smallest to the greatest."

With my blessing for a kosher and joyous festival of Pesach*,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו ממוצש"ק עם המוסגר בו, וכן מכתביו הקודמים, וגודל הנחת רוח מהפעולות אודותם כותב - בודאי למותר להאריך בזה. ובודאי אשר נשיאינו רבותינו הקד, אשר מסרו נפשם על הענין דאהבת כאו"א מישראל והפליגו בדבריהם גודל הענין, יוסיפו בהתעוררות ר"ר במקום עבודתם בקדש עתה, להוסיף הצלחה מרובה בפעולות האמורות והצלחה מופלגה, וברכה והצלחה גם בענינים הפרטים של כל אלו המתעסקים בזה. ובודאי שעי"ז יוסיפו בפעולות אלו, ומצוה גוררת מצוה.

וכמו שזכה לעורר רעיון הביקורים וזכה לראות הבפועל שבזה ופרי טוב מפעולות אלו, כן יזכה גם להבא לבשר טוב בזה, אשר הולכות הפעולות ומתגברות הן בכמות והן באיכות, עדי יקוים היעוד ולא ילמדו עוד איש את רעהו גו' כי כולם ידעו אותי למקטנם ועד גדולם.
