Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 22 Adar Sheini and to those that preceded it.

You describe the consequences of drinking the four cups (see note 1). You should therefore consult a doctor, who will surely advise you how to prepare the wine so that it does not affect your health. In this way, the symptoms to which you refer will disappear.

You tell me about the thoughts of your grandmother, to whom Hashem* will grant long life. Indeed, she imagines, in her mind, things that disturb her. It is therefore necessary to verify the mezuzos* of her room (see note 2). Likewise, each morning, she should give a few coins to tzedakah*. According to her abilities, she should read — or have read to her — before going to sleep, stories of our holy master or, more generally, of the Chassidim*. She surely recites the Shema Yisrael* of the bedtime prayers, or at least its first paragraph and the blessing of HaMapil*.

There is surely an established program to take advantage of the days of Pesach* for Judaism in general, and for spreading the wellsprings (see note 3) outward in particular. You are one of those who lead the action in this matter, and you will therefore encourage your friends to do the same.

I convey my blessing that Hashem protect your parents, to whom He will grant long life, wherever they are (see note 4), and that He lead them with kindness and compassion, from constriction to breadth.

במענה על מכתבו מכ"ב אד"ש והקודמיו.

במה שכותב אודות התוצאות משתית ארבע כוסות, - יש לשאול דעת רופא שבודאי יורהו דרך להכנת היין באופן שלא יגע בבריאותו ובמילא יבטלו התוצאות אודותן כותב.

במ"ש אודות המחשבות של הסבתא שלו שתליט"א, שמציירת במחשבתה ענינים המבולבלים - יש לבדוק המזוזות בחדרה, וכן שתפריש בכל יום בבקר איזה פרוטות לצדקה, ומתאים לעניני' תקרא או יספרו לה לפני הליכתה לישון, מסיפורי נשיאנו הק' וסיפורי חסידים בכלל, ובטח אומרת קריאת שמע שעל המטה עכ"פ פרשה ראשונה וברכת המפיל.

בודאי ישנה תכנית מסודרה לניצול ימי חג הפסח הבע"ל לעניני יהדות בכלל ולהפצת המעינות חוצה ביחוד, והוא מהפעילים בזה, ומעורר גם את חבריו לפעולות בזה.

בברכה שהשי"ת ישמור את הוריו שליט"א בכ"מ שהם ויוצאים בחסד וברחמים מן המיצר אל המרחב ובברכה לחג פסח כשר ושמח ולבשו"ט.
