Greetings and blessings,

Your note, along with what was enclosed, has duly reached me. At a propitious moment, I will mention all those you cite at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit shields us, so that they may obtain the satisfaction of their needs, as you write.

I was also given two press clippings with your articles. No doubt you will maintain this positive practice, including for what you have written in the past. You should endeavor, if it is not too difficult, to write articles worthy of being published, because they are of interest to the greatest number.

You surely know the saying, which we heard from my father-in-law, the Rebbe, regarding the study of the Torah: "You say that you have learned the Torah, but what has the Torah taught you?" In this note, however, you speak of what you teach to others, but not of your own study.

May Hashem* grant that this lack be only in what you write and transmit to me, but not in actual practice. And even if that is the case, an addition, from time to time, remains necessary, in accordance with the injunction that one must constantly ascend in the domain of holiness.

With my blessing to convey good tidings of all of this, and for a truly kosher and joyous festival of Pesach*,

הפתקא שלו עם המצורף הגיע לידי, ובעת רצון אזכיר את כל אלו שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך להם מתאים לכתבו.

כן מסרו לי שני המכ"ע עם מאמריו, ובודאי ימשיך במנהג טוב זה, ובמדה האפשרית גם בהנוגע להעבר, ויש להשתדל ובפרט אם אינו קשור בקישויים מיוחדים לכתוב המאמרים באופן שיהיו ראוים לפרסמם בדפוס באם יחליטו שיש תועלת הרבים בדבר.

בודאי ידוע לו הפתגם ששמענוהו מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בהנוגע ללימוד תורה, דו דערציילסט אז דו לערנסט תורה, אבער וואס האט תורה דיר געלערנט. והנה מוסיף בפתקא שלו האמורה ע"ד מה שלומד עם אחרים ולא ע"ד לימודו תורה בהנוגע אליו.

ויה"ר שיהי' חסרון זה רק בכתיבה והודעה אבל לא בהנוגע להבפועל, וגם אז הרי מוכרחת הוספה מזמן לזמן וכהציווי מעלין בקדש.
