To the attention of the members of the community
and the leaders of the synagogue and the
Talmud Torah* Agudas Chabad, in Chicago,
may Hashem* grant you long life,

Greetings and blessings,

From time to time, I receive news of what concerns your synagogue and your Talmud Torah, bearing the meaningful name "Agudas Chabad," as well as of the self-sacrifice of your women's organization.

I was also pleased to learn that you recently organized an honor dinner for your dear spiritual guide, the great Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, devotes himself to communal needs, filled with eagerness, of manifold accomplishments, Rav Tzvi Shusterman.

Consequently, I have good hope that you appreciate, at its true value, your dear Rav and spiritual guide. I also hope that this recognition takes a concrete form, through the strengthening of spiritual life at the synagogue and the Talmud Torah, at home and in all your surroundings, based on the Torah*, Torah of life, and on the mitzvos*, as they are illuminated and vivified by the clarity and warmth of Chassidus* Chabad.

On the eve of the great and luminous festival of Matzos*, time of our freedom, I express the wish that it encourage and strengthen your joint action to uphold and spread the holy traditions of your ancestors, who were Chassidim*, men of good deeds. By this merit, you will receive the blessings of Hashem in all your needs, physical and moral, and a true liberation from everything that hinders a joyous service of Hashem.

With my blessing for a kosher and joyous festival of Pesach*,
