Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of 6 Nissan*.

I have already told you that you must continue your studies in one of the Chabad yeshivos* in the Holy Land. It is in this way that you will achieve success, not only in the spiritual domain, but also materially. You tell me that in a certain place, the study of the revealed part of the Torah* seems weak to you. It is precisely about this that the verse says: "You are lazy, lazy," for those who truly desire to learn achieve success and they will continue to achieve it.

You inform me of your birthday and, on this occasion, you will surely adopt the custom that has recently become that of the Chassidim*. May Hashem* suggest to you the discernment and the right idea, so that you make the decision that will truly be good for you. You will have a year of success in the three domains of the service of Hashem — Torah, prayer, and good deeds.

כבר מלתי אמורה שעליו להמשיך לימודו באחת הישיבות דחב"ד, באה"ק ת"ו, וזאת היא הצלחתו לא רק ברוחניות אלא גם בגשמיות, ומה שכותב שמשער שבמקום פלוני נרגש חלישות בלימוד הנגלה, על כגון דא נאמר נרפים אתם נרפים וכו' ואלו הרוצים באמת ללמוד מצליחים וכם יצליחו...

להודעתו מיום ההולדת שלו בטח ינהג במנהג אנ"ש דיום הולדת בזמן האחרון, והשי"ת יתן לו הדעת והרעיון הנכון שיחליט בטוב לפניו באמת ותהיה שנת הצלחה אצלו בשלשת הקוים תורה עבודה וגמילות חסדים.
