To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem*,
devotes himself to communal needs,
of generous conduct, descended from an
illustrious family, Rav S.Z. (see note 1),
Greetings and blessings,
On the occasion of the festival of Matzos*, time of our freedom, which approaches, for us and for all of Israel, for the good, I send you my blessing that it be kosher and joyous, that it bring you true freedom — freedom from material and spiritual worries, from everything that hinders a joyous and enthusiastic service of Hashem.
This freedom will continue throughout the year.
Moreover, the service of Hashem, as our Torah*, Torah of life, commands us, applies to all the domains that concern a person, throughout the entire day and night, as it is said: "In all your ways, acknowledge Him."
With my regards and blessing on the occasion of the festival, expressing the wish that we meet soon on a joyous occasion,
I also enclose Matzah Shemurah* that was prepared on this day, the eve of Pesach, in accordance with Jewish custom (see note 2). This commemorates the Pesach sacrifice, offered on the eve of the festival. May Hashem grant that the Temple be speedily rebuilt. There we will offer the Pesach sacrifice in its proper time and we will eat of the festival sacrifices and of the Pesach sacrifices.

שלום וברכה!
לקראת חג המצות, זמן חירותנו, הבא עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לחג כשר ושמח ולחירות אמתית, חירות מדאגות בגשם ומדאגות ברוח - מכל דבר המעכב עבודת ה' בשמחה ובטוב לבב,
ולהמשיך מחירות ושמחה זו בימי כל השנה כולה.
ובפרט שעבודת השם, כמצווה עלינו בתורתנו תורת חיים, הרי היא בכל עניני האדם ובמשך כל היום וכל הלילה, וכמו שנאמר בכל דרכיך דעהו.
בכבוד ובברכת החג - ולהתראות בקרוב פא"פ בשובע שמחות.
מצורף לזה הנני שולח לכ' מצה שמורה שנאפה היום ערב פסח כמנהג ישראל, זכר לקרבן פסח הנקרב בערב פסח, ויהי רצון שבקרוב נזכה לבנין בית המקדש ונקריב קרבן פסח במועדו ונאכל שם מן הזבחים ומן הפסחים.
