Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your letter of blessing (see note 1).

I received this blessing and, in turn, send you one. Be therefore blessed with the blessing of the Holy One, blessed be He, whose interest exceeds the principal, as it is said: "I will bless those who bless you."

These days of the time of our freedom are propitious for this. May Hashem* grant that one be truly freed from all material and spiritual worries, from everything that hinders the service of Hashem with joy and enthusiasm.

This freedom and joy will be preserved throughout the year (see note 2).

Indeed, the service of Hashem, as defined by our Torah*, Torah of life, applies to everything concerning a person, throughout the entire day and night, as it is said: "In all your ways, acknowledge Him." You should consult the beginning of the fifth of the Eight Chapters of the Rambam*.

With my blessing on the occasion of the festival,

שלום וברכה!

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו, מכתב ברכה,

וברך לקחתי ואשיבנו, שיתברך בברכתו של הקב"ה שתוספתו מרובה על העיקר וכמ"ש ואברכה מברכיך,

ובפרט בסגולת ימים אלו דזמן חירותנו, יהי רצון שיושפע חירות אמיתית, חירות מדאגות בגשם ומדאגות ברוח - מכל דבר המעכב עבודת ה' בשמחה ובטוב לבב,

ולהמשיך מחירות ושמחה זו בימי כל השנה כולה.

ובפרט שעבודת השם, כמצווה עלינו בתורתנו תורת חיים, הרי היא בכל עניני האדם ובמשך כל היום וכל הלילה, וכמו שנאמר בכל דרכיך דעהו. ועיין רפ"ה מח"פ להרמב"ם.
