To my close relative, the Rav and Chassid*,
of illustrious family, Rav Baruch Shimon (see note 1),

Greetings and blessings,

After a particularly long interruption, I received with pleasure your letter from the eve of Shabbos HaGadol*, informing me of good tidings about the examinations taken by the students of the school Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch in Mancha. You observed that they are achieving success in their studies and may Hashem* grant that they be fit and worthy of the name of the school, that their conduct conform to the teachings and hopes of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit shields us, within all the Lubavitch schools, among the other institutions based on sacred values.

Indeed, you know to what extent my father-in-law, the Rebbe, invested his moral and profound forces in such schools, going as far as giving of his own self. And our Sages say of a shepherd of Israel: "Just as he has until now performed his service..." (see note 2). At the present time, he continues to invoke divine mercy for those who receive their education in these schools, for those who support them, for the teachers, for the spiritual guides, for all those who come to their aid, so that all may obtain material and spiritual success.

In these days of the festival of Matzos*, time of our freedom, we will obtain a true liberation from everything that prevents putting into practice the Torah* and the mitzvos*, from everything that hinders a joyous and enthusiastic service of Hashem.

לאחרי ההפסק הכי ארוך נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מערב שבת הגדול בבשורה הטובה מבחינת תלמידי ביה"ס אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאוויטש אשר במנחה ואשר מצא אותם מצליחים בלימודם, ויהי רצון שיהיו רואים ומתאימים להשם של מוסד זה, ז.א.

מתנהגים מתאים לרצונו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ותקותו בתוככי כל מוסדות חינוך דליובאוויטש בתוככי שאר מוסדות חינוך על טהרת הקדש, וכידוע עד כמה השקיע במוסדות אלו מכחותיו הנפשים והעצמים עד כי למס"נ, שבמילא מובן ע"פ האמור ברז"ל לרועה ישראל מה עד כאן עומד ומשמש וכו' שגם עתה מעורר ר"ר על כל חניכי מוסדות אלו התומכים הר"מ והמשפיעים והמסייעים להצליח להם בגו"ר...

ובהמצאנו בהימים דימי חג המצות זמן חירותנו, הנה יושפע חירות אמיתית מכל ענינים המבלבלים בעניני תורה ומצות ומכל מונע מעבודת ה' בשמחה ובטוב לבב.
