of fine conduct, Rav David HaLevi (see note 1),

Greetings and blessings,

I receive news of your state of health and I hope that today you are better than yesterday, and that tomorrow you will be better than today. Indeed, the Holy One, blessed be He, asks that there be an ascent in the domain of holiness. Now, the Jewish body is holy. You also know the words of the Alter Rebbe* in his holy Tanya*, chapter 49, according to which the expression "You have chosen us from among all the nations and tongues" refers precisely to the physical body.

Moreover, we are between Pesach* and Shavuos*, a propitious time for the healing of the body and its health, as the books explain (see note 2).

I send you my blessing for a good Shabbos* and that very soon we merit the fulfillment of the promise stated in the Haftarah* of this week: "And the Kohanim* and the Leviim*..." — according to the interpretation of the Arizal*, who explains that in the future redemption, very soon and in our days, the Leviim (see note 3) will receive the functions and the elevation of the Kohanim, while the latter will become Leviim. Thus, the Leviim will be Kohanim. You should consult the Likkutei Torah of the Arizal on Yechezkel and in other passages as well.

מקבל הנני ידיעות ממצב בריאותו, ותקותי שנראית הטבה היום לגבי אתמול ותהיה גם הטבה מחר לגבי היום וכו', שהרי ציווי הקב"ה מעלין בקדש, וגוף הישראלי קדוש הוא, וידועים גם כן דברי רבנו הזקן בספר תניא קדישא פרק מ"ט ובנו בחרת מכל עם ולשון הוא הגוף החומרי.

ובפרט שנמצאים אנו בימים שבין פסח לעצרת זמן מסוגל לרפואת הגוף ובריאות כמבואר בספרים.

בברכת שבתא טבא ואשר במהרה נזכה כולנו לקיום היעוד כהפטרת פרשת שבוע זו, והכהנים הלוים וגו' שפירש האריז"ל, אשר בגאולה העתידה במהרה בימינו ממש ולעתיד לבוא, יטלו הלוים עבודת ומעלת הכהנים באופן שהכהנים יהיו לוים והלוים יהיו כהנים (עיין לקו"ת להאריז"ל יחזקאל ובכ"מ), ובברכה לרפ' ולבשו"ט.
