I greet you and bless you.

I have duly received your letter of 11 Iyar, in which, once again, I have not found the reason why you have not written until now. And as I have already said, my purpose is not to complain about the past, but rather that this be rectified in the future. Likewise, it is not simply a matter of knowing, in a certain place, what has been accomplished. In fact, as practice demonstrates, when one knows that from time to time one must render an accounting of the actions that have been carried out, one mobilizes more alacrity and more strength — revealed strength and even hidden strength — in order to multiply one's actions, in quantity and in quality. May Hashem grant that these words be followed by action, for yourself and, through you, for all those whom they concern and upon whom you have the ability to exert an influence.

No doubt you will take advantage of the day of Lag BaOmer*, the Hillula* of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, the central point (of what must be accomplished on that day) being the spreading of the wellsprings* (of Chassidus*) outward. You will also make the necessary preparations to make use of the time of the giving of our Torah, which is approaching. May Hashem grant you the success of giving good tidings of this and of all that has been said previously.

With my blessing of success in what has just been said, and thanking you very much for your precious gift — the manuscript of the Rebbe (Rashab*, father of the Previous Rebbe),

P.S.: The sending of this letter was delayed. In the meantime, I have received the report of the youth of the Chabad* association regarding the journey to Miron (on Lag BaOmer). I am surprised not to see your name among those of the organizers.

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מי"א אייר אשר גם בו לא מצאתי טעם להעדר הכתיבה עד עתה, וכמבואר מאז אין כוונתי להיות מהצועקין על העבר, כ"א לתקן בהנוגע לעתיד, וגם בזה עיקר הכוונה לא שידעו במקום פלוני מהנעשה, אלא ע"פ הנראה במוחש שכאשר בזמנים קבועים צריכים להודיע אודות הפעולות הנעשות - ה"ז מזרז ומוסיף כח, הן בכחות הגלוים ואפילו בהמשכה מכחות הנעלמים, להוסיף בפעולות הן בכמות והן באיכות. ויהי רצון שיפעלו דברי אלו בהנוגע לו ועל ידו גם בהנוגע לכל אלו שמסוג זה הם - ויכול להשפיע עליהם.

בודאי ינצלו יום הבהיר ל"ג בעומר הילולא דרשב"י בנקודה התיכונה דהפצת המעינות חוצה, ועושים גם הכנות מתאימות לניצול זמן מ"ת הבע"ל. והשי"ת יצליחם לבשר טוב בזה ובכל הנ"ל.

בברכה להצלחה בהאמור ולבשו"ט ובת"ח ת"ח על התשורה היקרה גכתי"ק כ"ק אדנ"ע.
