To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem

and devotes himself to communal needs,

Rav Nissan (Rav N. Pinson, of Casablanca; see Letter 5410),

I greet you and bless you.

I have duly received your letter of 16 Iyar. No doubt you continue all the negotiations with those who perform circumcisions (see Letter 5410). You will do so with the greatest urgency, for everything you write. Indeed, this concerns the entire community. I refer to the Mitzvah* that conditions the entire moral and physical stature of a person. You will also consult the Shulchan Aruch* of the Alter Rebbe*, at the end of the second edition. You will likewise consult the Likkutei Torah* and the Siddur* (of the Alter Rebbe, with the Chassidic commentaries) regarding the Grace after Meals, in which the covenant (of circumcision) is mentioned. I have good hope that, if the others are not solely motivated by wanting the upper hand, you will succeed in rectifying this particularly important point.

Although you say nothing about it, you are surely preparing a program, sufficiently in advance, for the vacation period which is approaching. May Hashem grant that the abundance, through the rental of large buildings as you write, enlarge the heavenly channels and the earthly receptacles, in an effective manner, removing the veils and obstacles. You will be effective emissaries to magnify the Torah, uniting its revealed part and its inner dimension, to adorn it, in good health, with joy and enthusiasm.

With my blessing, in the words of our master, my father-in-law, the Rebbe — to receive the Torah with joy and in a profound manner,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מט"ז אייר, ובודאי ימשיכו כולם בדבור עם המוהלים בהענין אודותו כותב במרץ הכי גדול, כיון שענין כללי הוא כוונתי מצוה הנוגעת לכל קומת האדם הרוחני וגם הגשמי (עיין ג"כ שו"ע לרבנו הזקן מהדו"ב בסופו ועיין ג"כ בלקו"ת ובסידור בענין ברהמ"ז שצ"ל ברית) ותקותי חזקה שבאם לא יכנס הענין בנצחנות וכו' מצד השני, יעלה בידם לתקן הדבר הכי חשוב זה.

בודאי אף שאינו מזכיר עד"ז מכינים תכנית בעוד מועד בהנוגע לימי החופש הבע"ל, ויה"ר שהרחבת הענינים בשכירות הבתים גדולים שכותב אודותם וכו' תרחיב בהצנורות מלמעלה והכלים מלמטה הרחבה אמיתית המבטלת כל עניני העלמות והסתרים ויהיו הם השלוחים המוצלחים להגדיל תורה (המאוחדת דהנגלה והפנימית) ולהאדירה, מתוך בריאות הנכונה ובשמחה ובטוב לבב.

בברכה בנוסח הרב הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר לקבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות.
